Slow Cooker Cranberry Applesauce 1 November, 2017 | Dessert

  • 5 lbs. your favorite baking apples peeled, cored and chopped
  • 12 oz. cranberries, rinsed
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg


Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker, stir well to combine.

Cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.

Uncover and use an immersion blender or potato masher to bring applesauce to desired consistency.

Adjust sugar, if necessary, sweetening to taste.
