- 5 lbs. your favorite baking apples peeled, cored and chopped
- 12 oz. cranberries, rinsed
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker, stir well to combine.
Cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Uncover and use an immersion blender or potato masher to bring applesauce to desired consistency.
Adjust sugar, if necessary, sweetening to taste.
